Cercal do Alentejo is located near the coast of Portugal between Santiago do Cacém e Odmira. A small village which its name derives from the Latin quercalu (that means oak), due to the large number of such trees in the area.

The Alentejo’s coast has many faces, the South with steep cliffs with small beaches and fishing ports and the North with white dunes and blue lagoons.
