Krazy World, next to Silves, is a zoo, where visitors will find a wide series of activities, related to the animal world, such as live shows with reptiles or feeding time for exotic animals, and also the chance to see species from distant locations.

There is also a riding area with ponies, two minigolf courses, Krazy Golf and Jungle Golf, a small popular funfair, tropical swimming pools and two Motocross tracks.

In order to discover all the fun activities, visitors may join Krazy World as a full-time member and visit the park as often as they wish during the year.

The Albufeira Municipal Archaeological Museum (Museu Municipal de Arqueologia de Albufeira) is a small, but interesting, museum in the old town of Albufeira on the cliff overlooking the beaches of Praia do Peneco and Praia dos Pescadores.

The Municipal Archaeological Museum contains the usual mix of archaeological exhibits found in the Algarve: Roman, Visigothic and Moorish and also hosts temporary exhibitions in the rooms on its upper floor.

Lying on the site of the old Pera marsh, the Salgados Lagoon has become one of the most visited birdwatching sites in the Algarve.

Museu de Arte Sacra in the old town of Albufeira is a lovely space in the restored 18th century Chapel of San Sebastian (Capela de São Sebastião).

The Museu de Arte Sacra exhibits religious art collected from surrounding churches that survived the 1755 earthquake and subsequent tsunami and fires that hit the region.
